Music: Limit to Your Love by James Blake
I went back to Berlin this last weekend. This time, I traveled with my two lovely flat/dorm mates…
There must be tens of thousands of graffiti scattered all over the city of Berlin. You can find them on walls, buildings, pavements, polls, toilets, and the list goes on and on.. These pictures could only show a tiny fragment of that fabulous wealth of art and self-expression, but I tried to capture the spirit… enjoy.
“Love Art Hate Cops” done by a graffiti street art group called ‘Just’.

For those who have absolutely NO knowledge on street art. (aham… mom & dad) I recommend the movie, Exit through the Gift Shop –>
Amongst the kebab shops and the Middle Eastern green grocers in Nørrebro (the most international neighborhood in Copenhagen), we found our way to the Saturday morning flea market…
Berlin had such a cool vibe. I loved the grunginess of the city, it’s affordability and I was very impressed at how open they are about their shocking history.
Maya (one of my really good friends.. we became friends at Saturday Japanese school in Seattle, WA) came for a visit in Copenhagen and I decided to tag along with her to Berlin.. She’s studying art in Venice, Italy this semester!
All in all it was a fabulous weekend in Berlin—I want to definitely come back… maybe even next month?!
