Guys, this isn’t funk. There’s nothing “Funk” about it, neither the dancing (Bboying, “breakdancing”) nor the music (more bass-lead chill rock than any Hip Hop or funk). Funk is very specific, and something else entirely, please don’t be uninformed, go google “Soul Train”. Now THAT’S fukny!-

B-boying started on Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx when cats were dancing EXCLUSIVELY to Herc’s funk DJing in the early 70’s. And then Theodore and Flash came along cutting up those old records on time. Dennis Coffey, James Brown, Baby Huey, old Kool and the Gang, Isley Brothers, all that funk shit.
C’mon now if you’re gonna say stuff at least be right about it.
